She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which included a portable breath test. The result of the PBT was 0.132% BAC. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Pullman Police Station holding facility for processing. In an unusual move, Sgt. Jordan released her after she submitted to an evidential breath test, instead of transporting her to the Whitman County Jail in Colfax. She was charged with Driving Under the Influence.
