On June 22, 2026, a routine traffic stop in Sandy Springs, Georgia, quickly escalated into a high-speed police pursuit after the driver refused to stop. The suspect, identified as Jared Juwann Pierce, fled southbound on Georgia 400, reaching speeds of more than 110 mph.
