Key details: 24-year-old Hunter Munoz was brought to the COC for a mental health evaluation after stopping his medications. While at the COC, Munoz stabbed a public safety officer, causing serious injuries. After Munoz left the center, officers attempted to de-escalate the situation outside. Bodycam shows Munoz telling officers, "You're going to have to shoot me," before charging at them with a raised knife. Two officers fired, killing Munoz.
