On January 15th, 2026 on Hotalen Rd & Hirams Grove Rd in Sandyston Township, a male was found in his vehicle, stopped off the roadway unconscious. 911 was called and New Jersey State Troopers along with Atlantic Ambulance & Sandyston First Responders responded out to the scene. While EMS attempted to assess the patient, he became very agitated and combative, causing NJSP to step in and take him into custody. The male sustained a head injury during the arrest and EMS treated him in the back of a police car. He was transported to NJSP Troop B Augusta Barracks for booking. The redactions (blurring) were done by the issuing agency but the video was edited for a better viewing experience due to long sections being blurred or uneventful.
