On July 24, 2025, WWE founder Vince McMahon, 80, was driving his 2024 Bentley Continental GT on the Merritt Parkway in Westport, Connecticut, when a state police detective tried to catch up to clock his speed. According to Connecticut State Police, McMahon was driving over 100 mph. Dashcam video shows the Bentley accelerating away, braking too late, and slamming into the back of a BMW. The car then swerved into a guardrail and careened across the highway. Debris struck a third vehicle on the opposite side. When asked why he was driving so fast, McMahon told the trooper he was rushing to his granddaughter's birthday. After the trooper noted the car was fast, McMahon allegedly replied, "Yeah, too f***ing fast." No one was seriously injured. The crash happened the same day WWE legend Hulk Hogan died of a heart attack in Florida. The driver of the third car hit by debris was reportedly wearing a WWE shirt. McMahon was cited for reckless driving and following too closely. In October, a judge granted him a pretrial probation program. If he stays out of trouble, the charges will be dismissed on October 15, 2026. #vincemcmahon #bodycam #policefootage #bentley
