officers responded to a disturbance at Hammer’s Bar located at 898 Virginia Ave, Hapeville, GA. The incident began when an employee reported that Lynshanda Dubose was harassing customers. Upon making contact, Dubose became aggressive and confrontational. Officers attempted to escort her outside, but she refused and resisted. When officers tried to detain her, she did not comply and continued to resist, yelling and attempting to pull away. She was handcuffed in front due to her refusal to cooperate. While detained, Dubose yelled that she hadn’t done anything wrong and continued trying to leave despite being handcuffed. A witness approached the officers, claiming that Dubose had punched her in the face, grabbed her “vagina and butt,” and assaulted her earlier. Backup officers arrived, and as they attempted to place Dubose into a patrol car, she continued to resist. Officers then deployed Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray to gain control of the situation. After the arrest, Dubose was transported to Hapeville Police Department. Upon searching her purse, officers discovered a used crack pipe wrapped in a receipt.
