On February 16th, 2022, an officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly at excessive speed and attempted to stop the car. However, the driver fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit that lasted for some time before the officers managed to corner the vehicle and bring it to a halt. Upon stopping the vehicle, the female driver was arrested, and the officer began questioning a male suspect who was also involved. The male suspect was uncooperative, and during a search of the vehicle, officers discovered $6,480 in cash, prescription drugs, and marijuana, heightening concerns about illegal drug activity. Both suspects were arrested, with the female found to have concealed illegal substances on her person. The suspects were transported to the station for further investigation, and the male was charged with narcotics violations and driving with a suspended license, while the female faced charges for criminal traffic offenses and possession of marijuana.
