On July 18, 2023, police were called to a residence where a mother under the influence of drugs was refusing to leave her daughter’s home, leading to a confrontation. The daughter, distressed and concerned about her mother's behavior, explained the situation to the officers, who entered the apartment to assess the disturbance. The mother was combative and uncooperative, visibly intoxicated, and refused to extinguish a cigarette despite requests. Despite multiple warnings and opportunities to leave peacefully, she resisted, using abusive language and escalating the situation. Ultimately, she was taken into custody for trespassing after failing to comply with the officers' instructions. Afterward, the daughter provided additional context about her mother's disruptive behavior, and the woman was transported to the station for further investigation. Later, she faced charges in court, including resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing.
