On July 30, 2022, at 12:18 pm, officers in New Mexico were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving two cars at an intersection. According to dispatch, a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection, causing a crash with another vehicle. Upon arrival, officers learned, through witness statements, that a driver of a white Hyundai had caused the crash. The driver was traveling southbound and turned on a red light at the intersection, causing the white Hyundai to be T-boned by another vehicle. After surveying the crash scene, both officers spoke with the suspect, who was walking around while on a phone call with his mother. According to the officer's report, she observed the suspect eyes to be watery, and his speech was slurred. While speaking with officers, the suspect gave multiple answers on who was driving the white Hyundai. The suspect was arrested and later charged with DWI (.08 or Above) - 4th Offense, Careless Driving, Open Container - 1st Offense, and Failure To Yield. At the jail, the suspect provided two breath samples that read at 0.24 and 0.23 BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration), three times over the legal limit of 0.08 BAC. #bodycam #arrest #dui ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
