Report summary: ( full report will be pinned in comments) On July 3, 2022 while I was patrolling N Lee St looking for a white Chevrolet Traverse that was possibly driving impaired I observed a white SUV traveling west on E Jane St. Believing this was the vehicle in question I pulled over a few blocks north on N Lee St and waited for it to get to the intersection. Once the vehicle pulled onto N Lee St headed south I too pulled onto N Lee St. I then I observed the vehicle quickly turn left on E Mary St. As I turned onto E Mary I observed the vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at E Mary St and N Troupe St then accelerate. At this time I attempted to catch up with the vehicle that I could only describe as a white SUV and conduct a traffic stop. As I was attempting to catch up, the vehicle ran the four way stop at N Troupe and Vallotton Dr while turning left. I advised 911 that I had a vehicle attempting to elude me. As I turned onto Valloton Dr the vehicle ran the red light at Vallotton Dr and N Lee St. At this time I activated my emergency lights and sirens. The vehicle turned right onto Marion St and pulled into the parking lot of Sud City making a U turn and jumping over the curb and it continued north on Marion St. While traveling at speeds in excess of the posted speed limit the vehicle ran all the stop signs on Marion St to the intersections of E College St, E Moore St, E Alden St, E Park Ave and Lakeland Ave. The vehicle turned right onto Bemiss Rd and accelerated to speeds up to 100mph in a 45mph zone. As the vehicle neared University Dr it attempted a left turn but was going too fast to make the turn and instead pulled into the parking lot of 2517 Bemiss Rd and made a U turn and proceeded onto University Dr. At this point I was able to get the Florida tag DXMA27 which was displayed on a white Jeep Grand Cherokee. We then turned onto Seymour St running the stop sign at that intersection as well. We continued to Giddens Dr were he cut through a yard and came back out onto Seymour St. We turned onto Knox Dr and he again ran through a yard and circled back to Seymour St. SSgt Bradshaw attempted to stop him on Seymour St by ramming his vehicle. SSt Bradshaw struck the Jeep near the front driver side wheel and quarter panel. The Jeep continued traveling until Deputy Stephenson and myself attempted to pin the vehicle between our patrol cars at the intersection of Seymour and University Dr. The Jeep rolled through another yard and came to a stop near a ditch on University Dr. The driver who was later identified as Kendrick Pryor was ordered out of the vehicle by Investigator C. Manac, Dep Stephenson and myself at gun point. Pryor initially exited the vehicle with his hands visible but as soon as we went hands on to effect the arrest Pryor pulled away and tried to run and refused to go to the ground. While In Manac had a hold to Pryor I broke contact and pulled my X7 taser. I deployed my taser for one cycle striking Pryor in his right leg near his waistline. Pryor then went to the ground and was handcuffed.
