On October 21, 2025, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) received an anonymous text to 911 advising that a man wanted for theft, Patrick Ortwein (W/M, DOB: 03/18/1998), arrived at 9625 SE 160th Place in Summerfield on a motorcycle. While en route to the home, Deputy Peguero confirmed that Ortwein had a felony warrant for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Deputy Peguero and Lt. Winston arrived at the location and observed Ortwein attempting to pull out of the driveway on a motorcycle, at which time they boxed him in to prevent him from fleeing.
