On November 18th, 2023, officers in Ohio responded to an incident outside the police station involving two parked vehicles. Upon arrival, officers observed a woman attempting to forcibly open the driver's side door of a nearby vehicle while the occupant inside shouted for her to stop. When the officers intervened, the suspect, who claimed the person inside was her partner, began swearing and refused to comply with the officer's orders to step away from the vehicle. As the situation escalated, the suspect became physically aggressive, pushing against the officer and continuing to resist commands. The woman inside the vehicle informed officers that the suspect had been drinking, further complicating the scene. Officers placed the suspect in a police cruiser, and she continued to shout and curse as she was placed in the patrol car. A suspect’s partner later explained that the altercation began over a dispute involving a phone the suspect had been given but refused to return. Despite being transported to jail, the suspect continued to resist and act aggressively toward officers.
