On May 30, 2023, an Ohio State University Police Officer observed a vehicle almost hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The rookie officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, but since he wasn't sure how to proceed, multiple officers, both in uniform and in plain clothes, arrive to assist. The man is eventually asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). He was arrested for DUI and was transported to the Grandview Heights Police Department for an evidentiary breath test (EBT). The result of the EBT was 0.256% BAC. Towards the end of the video, it is revealed that the man is a professor at #OSU. His charges and the outcome of his case are discussed at the end of the video.
