On August 10, 2023, in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, officers were dispatched to a local gas station due to reports of a man who was involved in a verbal altercation with a woman. Upon arrival, officers asked the man, identified as Isiah, to exit the vehicle. He refused, but provided identification. After some time, Isiah exited the vehicle stating he had to use the bathroom. Officers stated that he could not go inside to use the restroom because they were conducting an investigation that involved him. Isiah then urinated on his aunts vehicle while officers stood by. Isiah began pacing around and stating that he did nothing wrong, and that the male officer made him feel unsafe. Eventually, one officer indicated to other officers that there were grounds for an arrest, probation placed a hold on Isiah for his behavior. Isiah tried to pull away from officers but was handcuffed and placed in the back of a squad car. He shortly after began hitting his head on things in the back of the vehicle. Officers then spoke with him and told him if he did it again, he would need to be restrained. He began hitting his head again shortly after. He was restrained using "The Wrap" and a padded helmet. He continued stating that he did nothing wrong, and that he just wanted one of the male officers to leave him alone. Isiah was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. He was found guilty of resisting or obstructing an officer and was fined just over $500. ❓Inquiries: LensOfLaw@gmail.com ☕Support Me: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lensoflaw 🔗My Links: https://lensoflaw.com The content we highlight is designed to provide a real-life glimpse into the encounters of law enforcement, not to demean or belittle those featured.
