On January 31, 2025, officers from the St. Charles Police Department responded to a disturbance at an autism therapy center in St. Charles, Illinois. Dispatchers reported that an employee was reportedly intoxicated, attacking coworkers, and damaging property. When officers arrived, staff directed them to the employee, who appeared disoriented and refused to leave. As officers attempted to escort her out, she resisted, pushed, and kicked at officers while shouting obscenities. Officers ultimately restrained her using a takedown technique and placed her in handcuffs after several attempts to control her movements. She was arrested and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest, and criminal damage to property under $500. She complained of wrist pain and was evaluated by medics but declined hospital transport. A responding officer also sustained a bruise to her elbow during the altercation. Jennifer was processed at the St. Charles Police Department and later released to a male acquaintance after receiving a notice to appear in Kane County Court on March 6, 2025.
