On December 6, 2025, Villa Park Police Officers Silva and Molenda stopped a 23-year-old woman after observing her strike a metal street sign and drive away. The police report indicates that Officer Silva detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle. The woman was asked for her license, but could not immediately provide it. She was then asked her name and date of birth, but she was unable to spell her last name or provide her date of birth. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She also submitted to a portable breath test and the result was 0.232% BAC. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Villa Park police station. She agreed to submit a breath sample for an evidential breath test and the result was 0.221% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
