Driver’s $50 Favor For Ex-Boyfriend Ends In A Disaster Late at night, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger for a burnt-out headlight. The driver explained she was simply giving her ex-boyfriend a ride in exchange for $50 after finishing her late shift as a chef. Upon identifying the passenger as Adrian Rivers, deputies discovered active felony warrants. A search of the vehicle uncovered a heavy stash of cocaine, fentanyl, and other narcotics hidden in a backpack on the back seat. While Rivers refused to cooperate after being read his Miranda rights, the driver provided full cooperation and consent to search her phone, proving she had no prior knowledge of the illegal contraband.
