Serial police impersonator Jeremy Dewitte is pulled over in his tow truck, and the traffic stop turns into an arrest on warrants. In this bodycam breakdown, officers stop Dewitte for speeding, following too closely and weaving through traffic. Almost immediately he realizes he's being arrested, and he keeps demanding to know why. Officers tell him there's a warrant, his tow truck is towed off the roadside, and he's told he'll be taken to the Orange County Jail. While he waits for transport, Dewitte insists his company only conducts funeral escorts and denies ever acting like a police officer. He tells officers they should have video proving he impersonated anyone, questions whether the officer's history with him played a role, and even wonders whether the markings on his own tow truck are part of the allegation. When officers ask about weapons in the truck, he mentions a possible pepper ball gun. Then comes the answer he's been demanding: police tell him there are two warrants for impersonating a police officer, with a total bond of $6,000. Even after hearing the charges, he keeps defending his escort business and says he followed earlier instructions about uniforms and equipment. What turned this traffic stop into a two-warrant arrest?
