It flew through a 25 MPH zone on Ocean Avenue near Homestead Avenue. He tailed the truck. The driver hugged close behind a speeding silver sedan. At last, he hit his lights. The truck stopped near Atlantic Avenue. Rilho approached the driver. She turned out to be 25-year-old Marissa Razzoli. He called her and the sedan driver scumbags. She said she'd hit the Boatyard that night. She owned up to a few beers before driving. Back at the truck, her dad was on the phone. She claimed he worked Homeland Security. Sergeant Gary Siculietano pulled up to help. They had her step out for sobriety tests. She started with the alphabet, A to Z. She botched it. Next came the one-leg stand. Her foot hit the ground too early. Then the walk-and-turn. Heels missed toes. Her turn went wrong. Her wild drive, alcohol smell, beer confession, and failed tests sealed it. Rilho arrested Marissa for DUI. He impounded her truck for 12 hours under John's Law. He drove her to the Point Pleasant Beach station. There, they read her the motor vehicle statement. She skipped the breath test. After processing, her sister Danielle took her home. Danielle signed the liability form for her. Court loomed ahead.
