Police responded to a domestic disturbance in Caledonia, Wisconsin, after a husband and wife accused each other of assault. As investigators reviewed home security footage, they uncovered a heated confrontation that escalated in front of the couple's children. While the video appeared to capture one side of the incident, both parties later gave conflicting accounts involving allegations of infidelity, domestic violence, and threats of self-harm. With contradictory statements and video evidence to consider, detectives were forced to determine the primary aggressor under Wisconsin's mandatory arrest laws. The investigation ultimately led to criminal charges, though the accused continues to deny wrongdoing. This case remains active in court.
