Instead of stopping, Nagorny took off—sparking a coordinated chase involving state troopers, county deputies, and even a police helicopter. The pursuit only ended after the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office deployed spike strips, shredding the Nissan’s tires and forcing the car to stop near Dwight.
