In this incident analysis, we examine a police response from New Jersey, where a 41-year-old male was denied entry into a local bar. The individual was escorted to the parking lot but refused to leave calmly, ignoring his friends' attempts to de-escalate the situation. Responding officers attempted to guide the man off the property, but he pulled away, stopped walking, and began screaming about his legal rights and the First Amendment. The situation rapidly devolved into a physical struggle as multiple officers had to assist in handcuffing the tense and resisting suspect. The resistance continued as the man fought officers by digging his feet into the pavement and throwing his weight around during the walk to the transport vehicle. The final aftermath inside the police headquarters holding cell reveals a highly uncooperative conclusion to an easily avoidable arrest. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is not a finding of guilt: that’s something for a court to decide. #bodycam #news .
