🎥 In today's documentary, we report on an incident that occurred in New Mexico on February 14, 2026. On that date, police received a missing-persons report for a girl who had been skateboarding near her home. In the early morning hours of the next morning, a 911 call came in from a Good Samaritan at a gas station— the girl had approached his vehicle and asked for help, telling him she had been taken by a stranger who was still parked nearby. The girl had convinced her captor to let her use the gas station restroom. The Good Samaritan kept her safe, called police, and when officers arrived the girl pointed out her alleged captor's vehicle, which immediately fled from police. Officers caught up with the suspect within minutes. According to police, the man — identified as 34-year-old Ruben Dario Gonzalez, who told police he had recently entered the United States — repeatedly demanded his phone during the arrest. Officers later learned from the victim that the suspect may have used his phone to film the attack. According to the police report and official court records, the victim disclosed that the suspect had lured her into his vehicle the previous afternoon by allegedly telling her that he was an Uber driver sent by her father to pick her up. She further stated that she had been threatened throughout the ordeal. Gonzalez was charged with six felonies and a misdemeanor. Court records show he has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. The full story is in the video.
