On December 14, 2020; I was on patrol in Fulton County. I received an LPR alert for a stolen Lexus GS in the area of Main Street and GA-166. I located the vehicle backed in at the Texaco located at 2641 Main Street in East Point. I used my patrol car to block the vehicle in and several occupants fled on foot from the vehicle. The driver pulled forward, ramming the passenger side of my vehicle and fled northbound on Main Street. I activated my emergency equipment and notified Troop C Communications of the pursuit. I pursued the Lexus northbound on Main Street at a high rate of speed with the suspect driving with no headlights on in excess of 120 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. The driver made a left onto Knotts Avenue and entered GA- 166 eastbound. I pursued the vehicle eastbound on GA-166 to the exit for Sylvan Road where the driver attempted to exit at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle traveled across the concrete median and struck a telephone pole and a concrete wall. The vehicle came to rest and I used my patrol car to pin the driver's door. I exited my patrol car and could see the driver moving through the vehicle in an attempt to exit out of the passenger's door. I drew my firearm and ordered the driver to the ground. The driver crawled out of the car and attempted to stand up. I holstered my firearm and prevented the driver from fleeing. The suspect who was identified as Quintavius Curry was taken into custody without further incident.
