UPDATE: A copy of the police report was obtained and her blood alcohol concentration was 0.139%. On January 1, 2024, Sea Bright Patrolman Marelli and Patrolwoman Taylor walked up to a vehicle on the road and the female driver was passed out behind the wheel. They were able to knock on the window and get the woman to wake up. She claims that she had just returned from a flight, but also admitted to consuming alcohol. She was asked to step out the vehicle to perform standardized field sobriety tests. During the first test, she was unable to recite the letters of the alphabet. She was eventually placed under arrest for DUI. At the police station, she became very argumentative with Patrolwoman Taylor. She was charged with Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor and Reckless Driving. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
