On October 19, 2024, Kettering Police Officers were dispatched to a traffic problem, where a caller reported that a woman was driving drunk and heading to Domino's Pizza. It was later revealed that the caller was the woman's boyfriend. Officers spotted the 27-year-old woman and initiated a traffic stop. She admitted to consuming a couple of shots before leaving her house to pickup the pizza. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Kettering Jail, where the police report indicates she submitted to a breath test. The result was 0.164% BAC.
