On March 21, 2024, a 24-year-old woman from Guatemala attempted to illegally scale the border wall near the San Ysidro point of entry near San Diego, California. She got stuck atop the 30-foot wall, which is made of concrete and metal bollards. While waiting for the fire department to arrive with a ladder, the women fell to her death. The footage shown in this video was recorded on body worn cameras worn by multiple Border Patrol Agents working for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
