Angry Man’s Attempt To Fight Deputies Ends In A Disaster Flagler County deputies arrived on Selma Trail in Palm Coast following reports of a disturbance occurring in the roadway. Upon arrival, Deputy Evan Bishop encountered four individuals involved in an altercation. While attempting to separate the parties and direct 24-year-old Ty Jackson toward a patrol vehicle, Jackson repeatedly refused commands and tried to re-engage the group. When Deputy Bishop prevented him from moving past, Jackson swatted at the deputy's arm. Deputies immediately moved to detain Jackson, who actively resisted arrest by locking his arms until backup arrived to assist in securing him in handcuffs. He was transported to the county detention facility on felony charges. ⚠️ EDUCATIONAL, JOURNALISTIC & FAIR USE NOTICE: WatchGuard TV serves strictly as an educational and journalistic platform.
