On July 3, 2024, Police officers in Del Norte County, California, were on the lookout for a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee linked to the use of a stolen credit card in Crescent City. A highway patrol officer eventually spotted the SUV, occupied by three individuals in town and conducted a felony traffic stop at the Home Depot on US Highway 101. Two of the occupants were arrested and subsequently booked into the Del Norte County Jail on the following charges. (a) VC - Driving with a suspended driver license. 636.5 PC - Possession of a police scanner while committing a crime. Passenger: Angeliai Canale was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.
