When they arrived, they observed a vehicle that matched a description given by callers. The driver, later identified as John Allison, was ordered to turn off the car. Allison was observed to have slurred speech, and he was acting fidgety and hyper. Police Officer Harry Montalvo arrived to perform a field sobriety test, after which Allison was arrested for driving under the influence. As per John’s Law, he was released into the custody of a responsible party. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
