On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at approximately 12:33 PM, West Palm Beach police were dispatched to a target location regarding a retail theft incident. While conducting store surveillance, loss prevention officers received a notification from the surveillance office about a woman placing items in her bag. They observed her placing multiple items in her white purse as she moved through the store. Eventually, she proceeded to the self-checkout lane, which was marked as closed, and attempted to conceal a full rack of ribs in plastic bags. After placing the ribs in her bag, she headed towards the elevator, taking it down to the ground floor to exit the store. At that moment, loss prevention officers approached her and informed her that she was being taken to the office for stealing multiple items. The stolen items, which were recovered, included pork, Johnsonville sausages, Johnsonville brats, ground beef, pork sausages, Prego sauce, market pantry drink mix, crystal light drink mix, and noodles, totaling a loss of $109.29. Despite the misdemeanor amount, the woman had multiple prior theft convictions as confirmed by her criminal history, including incidents in Boca Raton in 2001, Broward County in October 2006, West Palm Beach in August 2017, and North Palm Police in December 2023. Based on this information, probable cause exists to charge her with one count of petit theft, third offense or more which turns into a felony. #bodycam #police #cops #bwc #policebodycamera #copcam #copcar #arrest #arrested The individuals featured in these videos are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
