Shoplifting Call Turns Into Resisting Charge https://youtu.be/x7yH1WXWEGI On October 17th, 2025 in Margate, Florida, officers responded to a Dollar Tree after a reported shoplifting and battery. A woman matching the exact description was located just across the street at Little Caesars. What started as a simple detention quickly escalated when she refused to identify herself. Officers clearly explained Florida’s Stop and Identify law — but instead of complying, she chose to argue. The original theft charge wasn’t pursued. Instead, she was charged with giving a false name to an officer and resisting without violence, posted a $200 bond, and pleaded not guilty. Sometimes, it’s not the first accusation that sticks — it’s what happens next. #bodycam #FloridaPolice #Shoplifting #ResistingArrest #TrueCrime #PoliceFootage #LawAndOrder #CrimeCaughtOnCamera
