On August 24, 2024, officers responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a highly intoxicated woman who had fled the scene. Upon locating her at her home, the woman was uncooperative, argumentative, and refused to acknowledge her involvement. Despite officers’ attempts to explain the situation, she evaded them and later resisted arrest, claiming to have a migraine. The officers, with help from a witness who confirmed her reckless driving and intoxicated state, managed to arrest her after a struggle. They ensured her safety by arranging a medical evaluation before taking her to jail.
