Witnesses shown in the bodycam footage explain that they became concerned after seeing the woman reclined inside the vehicle and apparently unable to immediately wake up. According to their statements to police, they approached the vehicle because they initially feared she could be experiencing a medical emergency. Once awake, the driver tells officers that she had been sleeping because she works overnight and voluntarily reveals that she is a bartender. The situation ultimately progresses to an arrest, the reading of Georgia's implied-consent notice, a request for a state-administered breath test, and an inventory/search of the vehicle before it is impounded.
