Upon arrival, I made contact with the driver, who appeared disoriented and had open containers visible in her vehicle. The subject admitted to consuming alcohol at a local restaurant. I initiated Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs), during which the subject struggled significantly with balance, repeatedly citing the cold weather as the reason for her instability. Based on the totality of the circumstances and her performance on the tests, I placed her under arrest.
