She thought she did everything right. After a night out at the Paddy Wagon, a 37-year-old Florida woman pulled into a Wawa parking lot instead of driving home — and that's where an officer found her, slumped over the wheel with an open container under the car and the keys within reach. What follows is nearly 20 minutes of one of the more heartbreaking DUI stops you'll see: she insists she pulled over because she didn't want to drive, her friend shows up offering to take her home, and she completes every field sobriety exercise the deputy asks of her — all while pleading that she's never been arrested a day in her life. But under Florida's "actual physical control" law, you don't have to be driving to be charged with DUI, and the officer had already made his decision. Did the deputy get it right, or did she have a point? Watch it play out and let us know in the comments. ⚖️ This footage is public record, shared here for commentary and educational discussion of law, policing, and the "actual physical control" DUI standard. All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. #Bodycam #DUI #Florida #PoliceFootage #ActualPhysicalControl #FieldSobriety
