On September 29, 2023, Tipp City Police Officers were dispatched to a hit and run. One officer located several vehicles that had been damaged, while other officers located the alleged at-fault vehicle. The driver of the hit and run vehicle was a 22-year-old woman who admitted to consuming a glass of wine. She was requested to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was ultimately arrested for DUI. At the police station, she agreed to submit to an evidential breath test. That is when her meltdown began. After several drama filled attempts, she registered a blood alcohol concentration of 0.143%. After the booking process, the police gave her a ride home.
