On February 29, 2024, Miami Township Police Officer Korzan noticed a vehicle driving with no headlights. He began following the vehicle and observed the driver commit a marked lanes violation by driving over the white painted lines on the road. Officer Korzan initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 24-year-old woman. She admitted coming from a local sports bar where she stated she had consumed 2 "Astra Red Cream Sodas". She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion, she was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Miami Township police station, where she provided a breath sample. The result was 0.119% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
