On July 21st, 2023, police in DuPage County, Illinois, were actively searching for a trio of retail theft suspects who robbed a department store and fled officers at a high rate of speed during rush hour traffic. They were accused of speeding over 100 miles-per-hour and driving on the shoulder of the highway in an attempt to escape arrest. An officer located the fleeing suspects and was side-swiped by their vehicle while in pursuit. Chrischauna and Jajuan were arrested for various charges, including retail theft, fleeing and eluding, and burglary. A juvenile suspect was also arrested in connection to this incident.
