On May 14th, 2022, the Wildwood Crest Police Department stopped 21-year-old Gianna after observing her vehicle run a red light and turn onto another street. During the stop, Gianna, who mentioned connections to law enforcement, appeared aggressive and showed signs of intoxication. Despite her evasive responses, a strong smell of alcohol and her failed sobriety tests, including the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, walk-and-turn, and one-leg stand tests, led the officer to arrest her for driving under the influence.
