On May 15, 2022, in Fond du Lac Wisconsin, an on duty officer initiated a traffic stop due to a vehicle's excessive speed. Initially, the driver, later identified as Tataneshia, was cooperative with the officer. She gave the officer her license and rental information. The officer ran a license check on the driver, identified as Tataneshia and found that she had previous drug related offenses. Meanwhile, another officer arrived on scene to speak further to the occupants of the vehicle. When the second officer on scene asked Tataneshia to get out of her vehicle, she became argumentative and uncooperative. Eventually, the car was searched and a THC vape was found in the vehicle. Due to her unwillingness to cooperate, Tataneshia was arrested. Tataneshia eventually calmed down and was checked by EMS, it was determined she was okay to be transported to jail. Shortly after she arrived at jail, bond was posted and she was released from custody.
