@bodycamwatch @bodycamfiles This fascinating bodycam footage from August 14, 2025, captures a textbook encounter with "sovereign citizen" ideology. At 9:05 a.m., officers initiated a stop on a Tesla missing a license plate, only to be met with a driver who refused to provide a license, insurance, or registration. Claiming she was "traveling" and not "driving," she insisted she was not "contracting with the state." Watch the full bodycam breakdown as officers attempt to reason with her, even after a supervisor arrives to offer a final chance at compliance. The police body camera records the tense moment she is removed from the vehicle in handcuffs after her daughter is safely escorted to school. Investigations revealed her license had been expired since 2024. Despite being found guilty by a jury, she continues to appeal, maintaining that the law doesn't apply to her.
