***Update*** Detectives arrest four suspects related to this case. Detectives would like to thank the Public for their part in helping to identify the retail theft ring, which led to the arrest of 39-year-old David Labbe 12/28/1977, 29-year-old Cory Springs 08/21/1987, 26-year-old Amie Alfonso 1/05/1991, and 35-year-old Michael Miller 06/02/1982. Investigators say the fourth of the four suspects was arrested on Tuesday July 25, 2017 after detectives linked the suspects in a string of retail theft cases, with several admissions from the suspects to include thefts across multiple jurisdictions including cases from Largo, St Petersburg and Tarpon Springs. ***End of update*** Detectives are requesting the Public’s Assistance in Identifying a Petit Theft / Resisting a Merchant Suspect. On July 7, at 9:48 p.m., an unidentified white male enters the Seminole Walmart store at 10237 Bay Pines Boulevard and grabbed six bottles of Patron brand Tequila valued at $243.00, from the store shelf. The suspect then forces his way past two store employees who attempted to stop him as he exited the store. Store video captured the entire incident, including the suspect who is seen entering into a dark colored Mitsubishi sport utility vehicle that is occupied by at least two other subjects. The Vehicle is believed to be related to another other liquor theft involving patron at the same store with a different suspect. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detective R. Weil of the Burglary and Pawn Unit at 727-582-6337 or rweil@pcsonet.com. To remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or www.crimestoppersofpinellas.org. See attached photograph and video link:
