On January 28, 2024, Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress. The reporting party advised the dispatcher that an unknown person had entered her home, taken items belonging to her daughter, and was now leaving thru a rear door. As Deputy Schneider arrived, the victim was in her truck and beginning to follow the suspect. The victim pointed out the suspect's vehicle and Deputy Schneider gave chase. Minutes later, the suspect pulled into a dead-end road and parked the car, which was confirmed to be stolen. The 18-year-old woman would not exit the vehicle, so deputies smashed out the passenger window and unlocked the doors. The woman was removed from the vehicle and soon became combative. When she grabbed one of the deputy's uniforms, she was tased into submission. Then she started kicking the patrol vehicle's window. Once at the jail, she refused to exit the patrol vehicle and had to be extracted by corrections officers. Her list of charges, which includes 4 felonies, and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
