The Akron Police received a report about an intoxicated man walking in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers encountered the individual, and nearby witnesses, his sisters, urged him to stay off the road and use the sidewalk. Despite their advice, the man continued walking on the sidewalk. As officers were leaving the scene, they observed the individual picking up a can of beer and continuing to walk while singing in the middle of the roadway. Subsequently, officers approached the individual again and arrested him for possession of an open container and several other charges. However, when they attempted to book him into Summit County Jail, the facility declined due to his extreme level of intoxication. Consequently, he was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Following assessment, it was decided to provide him with a written summons for his offenses under a pink slip. ⚠️Note: Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All persons featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
