On June 1, 2023, Bowling Green police officers responded to a traffic collision. The first officers arrived to find a vehicle sitting on its roof in the middle of the street. The 22-year-old driver was found outside of the vehicle on the sidewalk. She told officers that she was coming from a local bar where she consumed two beers. Interestingly, she had been pulled over earlier in the evening and received a citation for allegedly driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Because she admitted to drinking alcohol, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. This included a very unique version of the one-leg stand. She was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired and was transported to the Bowling Green police station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result of her breath test, a list of her charges, and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
