Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office were called to a local bar after reports of a fight in progress. A woman became increasingly angry after learning that a man had given her girlfriend a ride on his motorcycle a few nights earlier. As the drinks kept coming, her jealousy boiled over. In front of deputies, she tried to attack the man. After detaining and arresting the woman, the deputy placed her in the back of the patrol car. Only then was he able to speak calmly with the man she targeted — learning what had really sparked her aggression and how the situation had escalated so quickly. This body camera footage captures the full encounter, from the first call to the final conversation, as deputies work to make sense of a bar fight fueled by jealousy and alcohol.
