On October 28, 2024, an INSANE Milwaukee chase during rush hour on I-94 led to the arrest of Daubon Pena — a wanted suspect with multiple warrants. When officers tried to stop him near Layton and Becher, Pena fled, sparking a high-speed pursuit through Milwaukee’s south side and onto I-94 during rush hour. The chase stretched more than nine miles, reaching speeds of 100 mph. Two police squads collided near 11th and Greenfield, injuring three officers. The pursuit ended near 13th and Orchard when Pena jumped from the moving vehicle and ran into an alley.
