On January 4, 2025, at approximately 1:00 AM, Officers Burns and Golovanov were flagged down by security personnel at a local establishment. They were informed that a customer had struck one of the employees. Security pointed out a female running down the stairs from the venue. The officers stopped and handcuffed her, placing her in front of the entrance. Due to heavy foot traffic, she was then secured in the back of the patrol vehicle. The security personnel reported that the arrestee had pushed one of the dancers, causing her to fall. The dancer stated that she had not interacted with the arrestee or made eye contact, yet suddenly found herself pushed to the ground and struck multiple times. She appeared to be in emotional distress and struggled to regain her composure, complaining of pain in her lower back but refusing medical assistance. The dancer chose to pursue charges. Security footage showed her standing next to the stage when the arrestee charged at her, pushing her in the chest, which caused her to fall. While on the ground, the arrestee struck her twice in the right hand. Witnesses, including dancers and customers, were momentarily frozen by the sudden actions. When asked about the attack, the arrestee claimed she "flipped out." A "Victims Rights" brochure was provided to the dancer, along with the incident case number. The arrestee was searched and transported to the local detention center without incident. Based on the facts and evidence, it was determined that the arrestee had committed battery by willfully and intentionally pushing and striking the dancer against her will. Additionally, her behavior constituted disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace of the establishment and its patrons who witnessed the incident. #bodycam #police #cops #bwc #policebodycamera #copcam #copcar #arrest #arrested #bwc The individuals featured in these videos are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
