On Saturday, June 29, 2024, at approximately 4:08 AM, law enforcement was dispatched to a bar regarding an active incident occurring in the parking lot. The caller reported that a white male wearing a black tank top and white shorts was being physical and arguing with a female. Upon the officers' arrival, they first detained a man. While speaking to him, they heard a slapping sound and a female voice scream from the east side of the parking lot, behind a parked car. As the officers approached, they observed a white male, later identified as Jesse, walking away from a white female, later identified as Kristy, who was lying on the sidewalk. The officer issued a lawful command for Jesse to stop walking away, but he refused to comply. The officer then aimed his taser at him, instructing him to lay on the ground or face being tased. Eventually, Jesse complied and laid on the ground, allowing the officers to secure him in handcuffs. He was placed in the rear passenger seat of a police vehicle. Contact was made with Jesse's friend, Lela, who provided a sworn statement indicating that Kristy had frequently stayed with her at her nearby home. She explained that Jesse had come to the residence with her van, giving Lela the key to it, which he had parked around the corner on Old Dixie Highway while Kristy stayed inside. Lela walked to the van to bring it closer to her residence. While approaching, she witnessed Jesse kick the van and was on the phone with Kristy when Jesse knocked the phone out of her hand. Lela stated that Kristy then approached them, and Jesse grabbed her and threw her to the ground. Lela called the police while Jesse continued to struggle with Kristy. Officer Turner observed Jesse struggling with Kristy as they approached the front of Ralph’s Standup Bar from Old Dixie Highway. He witnessed Jesse throw Kristy to the ground. Following the investigation, Jesse was placed under arrest and charged with resisting arrest without violence and battery. Before transporting him from the scene to the Jupiter Police Department for processing, Jesse began kicking the interior of the police vehicle. He was then transported to the Jupiter Sally Port, where he was secured with body and leg restraints for his safety due to his combative behavior.
